The application period for 2022 is open!
The Sweden Estonia Cooperation Foundation is ready to receive your applications for projects that strengthen the bilateral relations between our two countries. The application period is open February 1 to March 31, 2022.
The foundation was established in 2019 by the Swedish and Estonian governments, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Estonia declaring its independence. Our task is to promote knowledge exchange between young and committed citizens in the two countries and the grants are there to promote collaborations on innovations, new business opportunities and in-depth cultural understanding.
Prioritized areas for grants:
· Promoting mutual exchange and knowledge dissemination about culture and societal conditions
· Exchange and cooperation for network-building between young people to promote social cohesion, creativity and innovations
· The formation of new enterprises
· Promoting Estonian language and culture in Sweden, and promoting Swedish language and culture in Estonia
- A deeper cooperation between Estonia and Sweden is a true win-win opportunity. Hopefully, we have worst of the pandemic behind us and now can start to have a more normal exchange between our neighboring countries, says Chairman Pär Nuder.
- Estonia and Sweden are so close that we sometimes take our cooperation for granted. The fund aims to bring more real knowledge of each other, real cooperation in entrepreneurship, culture and civil society, Vicechair Yoko Alender says.
You may receive grants up to 5000 EUR for projects, up to 500 EUR per person for travel expenses, and up to 500 EUR for translation costs.
