Kadri Land is the new Chair and Pär Nuder is the Vice-Chair of the Sweden-Estonia Cooperation Fund in 2025
Last Friday, February 7, the Board of the Sweden-Estonia Cooperation Fund gathered for its first meeting of 2025 at the Embassy of Estonia in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Board comprises eight members appointed by the governments of Sweden and Estonia. These members represent the cultural, societal, and business sectors of both countries, as well as special priorities that align with the Fund's purpose. The Cooperation Fund welcomed Maris Lauri, who has been appointed to the Board, succeeding Yoko Alender, Estonia's Minister of Climate. Maris Lauri, a member of the Riigikogu (Estonian Parliament) representing the Reform Party, brings a wealth of experience in governance, economics, and public service.
The eight-member Board—Li Bennich-Björkman, Magnus Brännström, Kadri Land, Maris Lauri, Jaan Manitski, Elisabeth Nilsson, Pär Nuder, and Hendrik Voll—unanimously elected Kadri Land as Chair of the Sweden-Estonia Cooperation Fund for 2025 and Pär Nuder as Vice-Chair. According to the Board's structure, a member from one country serves as Chair while a member from the other country serves as Vice-Chair, with the positions alternating annually.
